Mikes ancestry is Tchech-Austrian-German. After Düsseldorf, Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg and New York, he now lives in Berlin again, working for cinema, TV and theater. As an actor he appeared on stage in Düsseldorf, Cologne, at Schauspiel Frankfurt, Schlosstheater Moers, in Hamburg at St. Pauli Theater and Deutsches Schauspielhaus, in New York and Berlin. His camera acting brought him, besides Germany, to the USA, New Zealand, Iceland, Sweden, Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Romania, Hungary and Austria. The ZDF-production "Race to the South Pole" with Mike as Roald Amundsen was nominated for the International Emmy Award. "Paths" with Mike in a leading role premiered at the 67th Berlinale and has been shown at festivals all over the world.
